The BAUHAUS4EU alliance, a successful applicant in the “Erasmus+ 2024” call, is a European university alliance comprising 10 universities covering a wide range of disciplines and fields, all united by a shared commitment to excellence in education, research, and innovation. Within this framework, guided by a common strategy, the partner universities are committed to deepening their transnational cooperation through joint educational programs and to promoting a European identity rooted in the principle of unity in diversity.

While focused on educational initiatives, BAUHAUS4EU nevertheless draws on its dynamic research capabilities. Thus, UPJV, through funding from the National Research Agency, seeks to foster interactions with its Alliance partners and develop joint research projects. To this end, UPJV is implementing various initiatives: i) incoming research stays, ii) outgoing research stays, iii) organization of thematic days and workshops.

Objectives of the action:

The “Incoming Research Visit” action enables a researcher, doctoral student, or research support staff member from a partner university of the BAUHAUS4EU alliance to be hosted by a research unit at UPJV. Through this action, UPJV aims to foster exchanges among research staff at partner universities, thereby enabling them to get to know one another better, identify opportunities for joint projects, and develop them.

Eligibility criteria:

- The beneficiary must be a faculty member, researcher, doctoral student, or research support staff member working at a foreign institution that is a partner of the alliance;

- The research stay must be between 2 and 6 weeks in duration;

- The application must specify the nature of the research activities in which the applicant will be involved, as well as the expected impact;

- The application must include the applicant’s CV and proof of employment. Doctoral students must also provide a letter of recommendation from their thesis advisor.
