As part of the Research Programming Act, the 2022 project Finances Act provides a financial support for new researchers to help them in their research projects. The UPJV is playing its part in this initiative by offering support to help lecturers who join the unit in September 2026 settle in and begin their research work.

Eligibility criteria :

The beneficiary must be a lecturer appointed in 2026 and assigned to a research unit at UPJV.

Form of the grant :

The grant awarded will be a maximum of 6 000 € for :

• a support for a research project

• a support for the lecturer's appointment to the unit

Eligible expenditures :

• a contribution towards the remuneration of an internship, which must be paid in accordance with current regulations ;

• an operating budget and/or funding for small items of equipment to support the development of the research project (conducting experiments, travel expenses, consumables, external services, translation, acquisition of documentation to build a research corpus...) ;

• an operating and/or equipment grant for setting up within the unit (IT equipment...).

Timeline :

• Deadline : 7th of December 2026 - 16h

• Eligibility of expenses : 2027

• Applications will be submitted to the Research Committee

Elements :

Applicants must provide the following information in the online form :

• the scientific objectives of the project

• the planned activities for the project

• the estimated budget

Applicants must submit a detailed budget as an attachment. A template is available in the "Attachments tab".

Visa of the Unit director :

The Unit director must specify how the candidate's project relates to the unit's thematic areas or its strategy.
